Detail Doc brought up a very good point. If you're OCD and I think most people are on this forum, go with the charcoal gray. Charcoal is a nice compromise between the two extremes. I have a black garage queen and and charcoal Tundra daily driver. There's no way I would want a black daily driver. Like tdekany said you'd get about 20 minutes of enjoyment from it and then freak out as all the dust keeps landing on it. Some cars look really nice in silver like Volvo S60's because they have other things that help accentuate the car like nice body lines. Not sure the 4Runner falls into that category. I'm also not sure if you can get a 4Runner in charcoal. I know my girlfriend couldn't get a gray 05 Highlander because they don't make all Toyota's available in all colors.
