You don't need both. Essentially they are both orbital buffers, the
Flex having circular capability. The Flex is kind of like a PC on steroids. The Flex has 6 speeds, as well as adjustable speed trigger. You can always turn the speed down on the Flex.
You don't need both, although when I get a Flex sometime down the road, I'll prolly keep my PC as well.
