| Re: Buying Tyres on Line 'The problem with buying tires over the internet is that you have to pay for mounting, balancing, and flat repairs, etc. If you get say a $100 cheaper price off the internet and then are charged $12 per tire for mounting, $12 per balance and then $12 per flat you can quickly see that you don\'t really save any money. Also you don\'t get any roadhazard protection. I work for a large tire chain and have customers ask me about this and I tell them what I posted here. What it all boils down to is that the Tire Rack does not have to service your tires once they send them to you so they make money off you while you are stuck paying for all the services that you would get for free if you had bought from a local chain.' |
