| Re: BAD UDM PROBLEMS-vid inside The same exact thing happened to me. Their warranty claim service is great. Lynn Phillips handled mine. I think that she said that she would be on vacation this week.
They will send out a new UDM right away and then issue a call tag so that UPS picks up the broken one. I started a thread called UDM Warranty, praising their service.
As far as the hardware, I did not like losing the UDM, but as long as they replace it, that would be fine with me. I just hope that this second one works like it should. I also hope that it does not crap out on me after working well for a year. Since the same thing happened to you I am starting to question the quaility of the this last batch of UDMs. I got mine in September 07 after I gave my PC to a friend of mine. |
