Basically, on your butt joints (where the 2 boards meet together on the 4' side), you don't want a straight line to go all the way up to the ceiling, as it will be much harder to hide when you go to finish it. Not really a big deal in the garage, especially since its not finished and painted anyways. Ideally (in this situation) on the top row, you would have a joint at 4' and 12', and on the bottom row, just the one joint at 8' thats currently there.. (or vice versa)

But again, just more of an FYI for future reference. It's not going to fall off the wall or anything
