I was just coming in here to ask the same question... glad i searched first.

So yeah, i agree... i think the instructions need to state which side needs to make contact with the paint.

Does anyone have any experience with how this works in comparison with the typcial claybar? I won't be using mine until next weekend. The wait is killing me!
