Their parents are probably right. I'm sure they've been given subtle hints as kids do.
Be careful though, they might insist on wanting both. Ha!
I can imagine the look on their faces if they say they'd rather have XYZ and you just happen to surprise them with the other one in the car. Of course, that'd be pretty bold of them to say they'd rather have something else in the first place. I know I wouldn't have been able to pull that off when I was a kid!
