If you want the "Wet Look" on tires, then TTGP is not the final answer. The sealant does its job well in that it seals the tire sidewall and keeps it from oxidizing and makes it much easier to clean.
I'm playing with sealing tires and applying
Sonus Tire Gel over the sealed tire to get a very dark, black wet look tire. My neighbor likes this look, but I can't stand it. Each to their own, but she is loving the look on her Chevy Tahoe.
As for my own car, I treated a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport (285/35 19") with TTGP last weekend. Since then I have logged 600+ miles and wiped the tire and wheel down every day with
Ultima Detail Spray Plus. The tire still looks very dark and has the perfect amount of gloss for my taste (slightly satin).
The benefit I see with TTGP is that it truly protects for a long time, keeps the tire dark and makes the tire easy to clean. If people want a higher gloss formula just for tires, we created a gel that I can pull back off the shelf.
